Aster : Delphine Gigoux Martin

Depuis le début des années 2000, Delphine Gigoux-Martin développe un oeuvre singulier et précis qui passe principalement par l'installation et le dessin pour explorer le vivant, animal et végétal. Mais à l'aune de l'Autre, c'est aussi notre propre nature qu elle rappelle. Publié à l'occasion d'Aster, commande publique pour le barrage de Saint-Étienne-Cantalès, richement illustré, nourri de nombreux textes et d'un entretien, cet ouvrage est la première monographie consacrée à l'artiste.

Since the early 2000s, Delphine Gigoux-Martin has been developing a unique and precise body of work that employs installation art and drawing to explore living beings, both plants and animals. In using Otherness as a reference point, her work also reminds us of our own nature. Published in celebration of Aster, a public commission for the Saint-Étienne-Cantalès Dam, this lavishly illustrated book contains several articles and an interview, and is the first-ever monograph dedicated to the artist.
